Nick Kokonas Talks Ticketing, Powerpoint, and Ramen
On Tuesday, May 29, Technori Pitch featured keynote Nick Kokonas – owner of Alinea, Next, and The Aviary. Kokonas is an innovator of fine dining, implementing unorthodox point-of-sale strategy and other mechanisms, to elevate and increase efficency in the dining experience. In so doing he provided world-renown Chef Grant Achatz with a sound business platform to perform his creative mastery.
During the keynote, Kokonas discussed his entrepreneurial story in the food industry, and his vision for utilizing technology to rethink point-of-sale consumer transactions. He also had a few things to say about the evils of Powerpoint and the glory of good ramen. See it for yourself here.
