Intellivision is one of those OG gamer console brands that had its initial run through the 70s, 80s and 90s. Now in 2020, the brand is revived and humming with the upcoming launch of their new console, Amico. Led by CEO Tommy Tallarico, the Intellivision Amico is a simplistic and largely offline gaming experience geared towards playing with the whole family at home.

With a basic controller scheme, Amico games are intended for children and grandparents alike to easily understand how to play games together, reflecting the success of Nintendo’s Wii console from the 2000s.

Tommy joins the show to talk with Scott about leading Intellivision through their crowdfunding campaign on Republic, bringing back retro-gaming for the modern family and creating the “Disneyland of consoles”.
